WATER IN THE DESERT
Water in the Desert: A Zayed Legacy brought together over 80 children to devise and perform an original opera with over 800 children actively involved in cross-curricular sessions related to its historical and environmental themes of heritage, identity and sustainability. The opera was composed by Hannah Conway and words by Peter Cant, inspired by the young people. A professional creative team and two opera singers led the pupils as they sang the libretto, taking the audience on an unexpected and memorable dramatic journey.
